NATIONAL INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY – The Book Keepers (and downtown Hutchinson) are celebrating National Independent Bookstore Day, Sat., April 25 with discounts, activities, raffles, exclusive titles, and freebies. Don’t miss the excitement! 45-46c
PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Waverly Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast Sun., May 3 from 8 – 11 am at the Waverly KC Hall, 301 5th St N. Pancakes, (regular and blueberry), french toast, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice will be served, with takeout available. Free will offering at the door. Proceeds donated to Knights of Columbus Scholarships. 46-47c
PLANT SALE – The annual plant sale sponsored by the Winsted Lake Watershed Association is set for Thurs., May 7 and Fri., May 8 from 8:30 am – 5 pm, and Sat., May 9 from 8:30 am to noon at the Koch building across from Holy Trinity School. A large variety of donated annual and perennial plants will be available. Plant and garden whimsies donations are encouraged and always welcome.
