PALM SUNDAY BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER – The Howard Lake Lions are hosting a Palm Sunday Breakfast fundraiser on Sun., March 29 at the Howard Lake Lions Club, 625 8th St., Howard Lake. Serving from 8 am – 12:30 pm. Featuring pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, desserts, milk, orange juice and coffee. Free will donation. To-go available. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds to benefit HLWW Track & Field. Bring used glasses or hearing aids. 41-42c
FISHING WITH THE BUNNY BINGO – Fishing with the Bunny is back for more fun at the Blue Note Ballroom, 320 3rd St. S. Winsted, on Sunday, March 29. Doors open for this all-family event at 12:30 p.m. with Bingo at 1:30 p.m. There will be a silent auction, dollar raffle, live auction, and concessions, before the real action begins. There will be cash prizes, gift cards, meat prizes, and door prizes to win! The event’s proceeds after expense will be divided between the Winsted Arts Council and the Winsted Royalty. We love seeing families come together and spend time laughing, making memories, and having a good time! 41-42p
GLADIOLUS FLOWER AUCTION – Sat., April 11. The Minnesota Gladiolus Society will hold its annual bulb/corm auction from 12:30 – 3pm at the Cologne Community Center, 1211 Village Parkway, Cologne, MN. This auction is free and open to the public and offers a great opportunity to purchase varieties of gladiolus flowers you won’t find at garden centers and you set the price.
