SALAD LUNCHEON – The St. John LWML will host a salad luncheon on Sat., May 4, from 11 am – 1 pm, at St. John Lutheran Church of Hollywood, 17725 53rd St., New Germany. Adults, $10. Children ages 5-10, $3. Children 4 and under, free. 45-46c

PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Sunday, May 5 from 9-12, at the Lester Prairie City Hall. Lester Prairie Lions are hosting. Proceeds support Lester Prairie projects. We will be collecting old eyeglasses and hearing aids at the breakfast. 45-46c

PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Waverly Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast, Sun., May 5, from 8 – 11 am. at the Waverly KC Hall, 301 5th St N, Waverly. Pancakes, (regular and blueberry), french toast, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice will be served. Takeout available. There will be a free will offering at the door. BOOK & PUZZLE SALE – Delano Senior Center book and puzzle sale. Wed. – Fri., May 8 – 10. Wed. – Thurs. 8 am-4:30 pm, Fri. 8 am-2 pm. Join us for our semi-annual big book & puzzle sale! FRIENDS OF THE GLENCOE PUBLIC LIBRARY PLANT SALE – The 4.5-inch potted geranium plant can be ordered for $7 per plant, choosing dark red or pink blossoms. Pick up times are Thurs., May 9, 3-6 pm, Fri., May 10, 12-4 pm at the library parking lot. Proceeds to benefit the children’s 2024 summer reading program at the Glencoe Library. Keeping children engaged in reading and learning activities provides opportunities to retain school learning. PLANT SALE – Winsted Lake Watershed Association Will host its annual plant sale Thurs., May 9 and Fri., May 10 from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, and Sat., May 11 8:30 am to noon at the Koch building across from Holy Trinity School. WOMEN’S LUNCHEON & SPEAKER – Sat., May 11 at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. Join educator, author, speaker and retreat leader Alyssa Bormes for a morning of inspiration. Social at 11:30 am, followed by a luncheon catered by B’s on the River at noon. At 1 pm Alyssa Bormes will inspire us to know The Mother of Jesus is Wonderfully Real. Cost is $25 per person.
